Coaching neurodiverse individuals to become the best version of themselves

• “Why does my child have a difficult time advocating for myself?”
• “How can I increase their social skills and confidence when they talk to others?"
• “They want to start living their own life, but how? Where do I start?"
• “My child is unsure of what they want to do for a living. How can I help them to gain certainty and clarity?

The list goes on and on right? For starters, these feelings are completely valid. Now the bigger question is, how can you get the assistance that you need for your child?

Working in this field, I know how frustrating and upsetting it is for parents to wonder, what's next? Students typically "age out" when they turn 22 years old and it's left to the parents to figure out what those next steps look like? Does your child want a job? Do they want to go to college? Do they want to live on their own? Do they want to meet new people and build relationships? OR is your child unsure of what they want to do? Then, it's time for a social skills coach.
Hey everyone! I'm Raven. I am a transition coordinator by day and a social skills coach by night. I have a genuine love and desire for helping others and specifically, I love helping neurodiverse individuals build proficiency in adulthood. As a transition coordinator, I help individuals improve their social skills by learning about conversation starters and even appropriate conversation topics, adult living skills like money management and budgeting, community skills to identify leisure activities, identify natural supports in the community, and create a sense of purpose by serving others, and so much more!

At Transition U, I help individuals create and thus achieve their goals by promoting skills, they are already capable of, in order to efficiently transition into the best version of themselves. As individuals undergo the transition process, they will learn skills that will help them facilitate positive growth throughout their life such as: becoming more organized, managing their time wisely, creating a routine that works, developing and maintaining healthy relationships, maintaining a good work-life balance, promoting social skills and all of the other intricacies that encompass living on your own.

Transition U
Vision and Mission Statements
Our vision is to help all individuals, with learning differences, promote their executive function skills, social-emotional skills, and college and career planning to transition into adulthood by establishing community, raising awareness, and teaching through the gradual release of responsibility model.
Our mission is to provide individuals with skills that will assist them all throughout adulthood. Adulting can be easy if an individual is fully equipped with the knowledge to maintain and promote their life in prioritized areas; however, it can also be very hard if mismanaged or misdirected. Individuals enrolled in Transition U’s teachings will know what, when, and how to maintain a healthy, proactive, stress-free life by applying the necessary skills that Transition U instructs.
